Auto Collision and Personal Injury Rehabilitation Program
Injuries occur suddenly, such as a slip or fall, or slowly over time with repetitive strain on an area of the body. If you are injured at work, make a claim through your employer, and the Workers Compensation Board will cover your initial assessment fee then decide if you are approved for further treatment. Be sure to make a claim through your employer within 5 days of becoming aware of your workplace injury. Workplace injuries are a common problem. We offer programs that provide workplace injury rehabilitation, worksite assessments, and prevention ergonomic advice.
If you are injured in an auto case make sure to bring the claim number, police report, and lawyer being used. This will help with proper documentation on our site and allow us to focus on attempting to get to pre-injury status!
What is whiplash?
Whiplash is a quick injury resulting in damage inside of the joints and the muscles. Pain is not always present for these injuries.
Pain and stiffness can present years down the road! The abnormal buckling of the neck can lead to degeneration and damage in the spinal canal. The damage from whiplash can be torn muscles, damaged ligaments, concussion, damaged cord, and so much more. Some research says this can even happen at 6 miles per hour!
It is important to have a doctor trained in spinal conditions to do the exam involving range of motion, neuro exam, orthopedic exam, and proper imaging.
